Welcome to Islamophobia: More than an Epidemic. While three million Muslims live in the U.S., hate crimes against them have risen 67% since 9/11. Anti-Muslim hatred affects every aspect of a Muslim's life, including social and physical health. The main goal of this digital essay is to demonstrate the differing definitions of Islamophobia, who it affects, the consequences of it, and what can be done to remedy hatred toward Muslims in America.
